Varvar Mooradian

Varvar Mooradian (at times spelled Mouradian) was born in 1905 in Pazmashen (Kharpert).
Vera’s father’s name was Khachadoor Mooradian (per DC).
Vera's grandfather's name was Asadoor Mooradian.
Vera’s mother’s name was Tarvez (Tarvaz) DerGiragosian (per DC).
Vera's grandmother's name was Cohar Mooradian.
According to her US passport (issued on April 20,1965), Varvar (Vera) Bedrosian was born on October 17, 1905. (Death Certificate shows her DOB as October 10, 1905.)
According to her Standard Certificate of Death (DC) from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Vera Bedrosian passed away on October 7, 1992.
Varvar departs Marseille on August 14, 1922 on the Fabre Line steamer “Braga”, ship’s manifest #2, number 16, passenger number 9779. Her daughter Sylvia wrote that Vera arrived in America on September 1, 1922 where the "Braga" docked in Providence, RI. She was accompanied by her aunt, Altoon (Kazarian) Mooradian, who was married to Hovhannes Mooradian, Vera's uncle.
Her husband was Aznavoor Milis Bedrosian.
Aznavoor Bedrosian was living in Newton Upper Falls when Varvar Mooradian was living at 62 East Street in Whitinsville. (from personal correspondence envelope)
Aznavoor (at times spelled Aznavour) and Varvar Bedrosian were married on November 29, 1923 in Whitinsville, MA by Der Atig Dzotsikian per their marriage certificate from the Armenian Rectory of Worcester, #430. (Diocese)
According to their marriage license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Town of Northbridge, date of marriage was November 29, 1923 in Whitinsville, MA. Aznavoor was 28 at the time of his marriage to Varvar, who was 17.
They resided together at 50 D Street before moving to 4 Whitin Avenue, Whitinsville, MA.
Varvar received her Certificate of Naturalization on December 3, 1942. She was living at 50 “D” Street in Whitinsville at that time. Her naturalization certificate number was #5616576.
Varvar attended a beginner’s course of “English for American Citizenship” from November 1, 1926 to February 2, 1927, completing 66 hours of instruction. She also attended an intermediate course in “English for American Citizenship” from October 30, 1927 to February 8, 1928, attending 78 hours of instruction.
1930 Census, Aznavoor, Varvar and son Peter Bedrosian resided on 50 “D” Street in Whitinsville, (Northbridge) MA.
Varvar participated in the National Gathering of Survivors which took place in Washington, DC, April 24-28, 1985 marking the 70th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

Aznavoor “Charles” Millis Bedrosian was born in Harpoot, (Kharpert) Armenia, on August 10, 1890, son of Bedros Bedrosian and Taman Kazarian.
Aznavoor was naturalized on March 19, 1948, then residing at 50 “D” Street in Whitinsville, MA. His naturalization certificate number was 6754294.
Aznavoor passed away on September 6, 1971. He was a moulder’s helper at Whitin Machine Works.
His death notice was published in the Hairenik newspaper on Wednesday, September 8, 1971
